   A UNIQUE PROGRAM

Global Business Journalism is the only English language master's program focusing on business and economic journalism on the Chinese mainland. Students learn practical skills: how to write, report and think like journalists. We cover a wide range of topics from futures exchanges to world climate change. Through a close association with Bloomberg News,  our students get exposed to the best practices in the business with special attention to data analysis.

 JOURNALISTS & SCHOLARS

Professors in the Global Business Journalism include eminent Chinese academics and veteran international journalists. Our faculty members have trained journalists and academics around the world and have written books on topics such as multimedia reporting and media management. Because we keep our program small, we offer students a chance to get extensive feedback on their writing and analytical work.

  A WORLD-CLASS UNIVERSITY

Tsinghua University, located in China's capital of Beijing, is a world-class research university  with about 37,000 students. It is widely considered the top university in China and was rated the best university in Asia by the World University Rankings. The campus, housed in a former Qing Dynasty imperial garden, has been chosen as one of the 20 most beautiful campuses in the world. Tsinghua offers opportunities to grow academically, professionally and personally.

OUR STUDENTS

The Global Business Program is a unique multicultural learning and living experience. Our students have come from more than 70 countries – from Australia to Zimbabwe, from Israel to Iran, from Canada to Singapore, from the United States to Bangladesh.  All students must be fluent in English, have a bachelor's degree and have strong academic credentials. Many have had a few years in the working world. Are you ready to become one?
