In this GBJ Explainer video, Global Business Journalism reporter Nouha Boughabi of Morocco describes the emergence of ESG in the business world.
ESG stands for Environment, Social and Governance. Corporations around the globe are committing themselves to more than just profits. They are also pledging to work toward sustainability, corporate social responsibility and responsible governance. Check out this and other GBJ Explainers on our YouTube channel.

The part about governance being the quiet pillar that actually enforces the other two really clicked for me since I often see ESG talk skip over that detail. Unrelated topic, so just a quick sign-off — Iron Nest Guide demo page
Nice to see GBJ putting out explainers like this — ESG can get so jargon-heavy that it’s easy to lose the plot, especially for students just starting out. The way Nouha breaks down the three pillars without oversimplifying the trade-offs is a solid balance. Speaking of testing things, I’ve been using the scroll test at inputbench.com/scroll-test/ lately to check my mouse wheel behavior, and it reminded me how much clearer things get when you have a simple, hands-on way to see what’s actually happening — kinda like this video does for ESG.
I was looking for some basic information about Fast Win and found this page while going through different blogs. The explanation is simple and covers the main points without making the topic confusing.
The video explainer format makes ESG way easier to grasp than the usual dense reports—especially the breakdown of how it ties to business journalism. I’ve been using this for my students, and the visual flow really helps. Check out https://cowork-code.com
