A brief history of Tulsa's Black Wall Street

Global Business Journalism reporter David Bartle lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the cite of the worst racist mob violence in American history. One hundred years ago today, a White mob, aided and abetted by local law enforcement, burned down the most prosperous Black community in the American South, killing dozens of freed slaves and their descendants, raping Black women, and displacing more than 5,000 residents.
